yes, I’ve not reached that point where I have nothing to say of any use, so I’m going to go back and cover a few things I missed out the first time around:
- Ubiquity – I uninstalled it, it was annoying since I had no control over adding new features with history disabled(which I do to keep the awesome bar smart to what I want to look for(here’s a clue, if I type “perl widget” in which do I want, my google search for it, or the page I favourited as having a completely list of said resource complete with sample usage and such? I think the later is better)) and removing features involved cutting chunks of a text file up, not as good as I would like
- DoP – I am going to cover the DoP idiots guide to modding part 2 at some point, but for now I’ve found a new game of interest which is easier to work with(since rather than using mods I can make my own cheats, makes the game much more logical and easier to play).
- Chrome – I havn’t cared at all about chrome since I wrote the post back then, as I said, it’s just safari reskined(and safari is just konqueror with all the power removed).
- Perl Gtk2 – Still has some annoyances, but I have worked around my most infuriating, and created wrapper classes for the remainder to help me out when things get hard.
- Virgin – restored by service after a quick complaint, so that’s OK now, although I am still looking for ways to escape the restrictive contract I am tied into.
- twitter – is still broken, and I’ve given in caring, if they want users they should care about making services work, simple as.
- My Headache – went away, I’m all better now.
Now that we are all caught up I have only 1 last thing to say:
Aaarrrr, Happy talk like a pirate day.
