OK, so it’s known to many people that I’m not a big fan of twitter, I’m sure everyone who knows me knows that, but after mininova went down for maintinance today I got a few links for services they blog(or microblog) on, and twitter looked like a more personal, and less “I’ve got 13 billion friends on myspace”
So naturaly, I figure, why not, I’ll register and take a look, it can’t be that bad can it?
WRONG
Twitter as annoyed me, and I havn’t even had the chance to register yet, their stupid captcha(yeah, I know, it’s just recapcha, but I don’t have problems using recaptcha on 100% of the rest of the web) wouldn’t work, then to add insult to injury every time I entered the recaptcha I had to type in my password, again, and again, and again, because apparently they can’t just get it to stay entered when you get returned to the same page 10 times. I sent them a message through their contact us system, so with any luck I’ll be able to actually try out their service at some point, although honestly I’ve got a few black marks against the name twitter in my mind already.
